humbled

On Friday, I began my usual reading of favorite blogs. When I came to Jane's, ( whom by the way you should be reading each and every day!) I stopped and read again what she had written. She named this journal as Excellent. She put me in the company of what she termed "writerly blogs". Call me humbled AND terrified. How can I live up to THAT? Particularly now as I seem to lose more words every day.

Visit Kayla to read more about this award. Now I have to list 10 more people whom I feel are excellent, must read bloggers. I would first give this right back to Jane but I fear this could become akin to regifting. But of a good gift, of course. The people I am passing this award on to are woman I would love to spend time with. Most are people I have never met but who have drawn me into their lives by virtue of their abilities and characters.

1. Robin- writer-poet, dog lover, knitwit, best friend- who writes about all of these topics and her life with an illness.

2. Marion- artist extraordinaire

3. The Library Lady- one of my favorite librarians ( and who also just happens to vacation in my lovely town). She makes me laugh, cry and wish I could be a ballerina. Oh, and she knows Yiddish words for everything.

4. Les- my Canadian friend. I keep an eye out for a big unwieldy motor vehicle turning into my
driveway.

5. Heather- new to me today and now dear because of what she has begun; sharing acts of kindness in the Etsy world.

6. The group of people who write Real Mental - an honest, courageous group sharing their experiences of mental illness, their own and their loved ones.

7. Lesley Riley Artist, author, lovely person

8. Hidden Haven Homestead - She has goats. I want to live at her house.

Thank you for the thought--though I don't think I'm in your league as a writer!

Wow! Thanks so much, Denise - I'm really touched.

Yes, keep on keeping an eye out. My trailer-jaunt is getting closer all the time. :-)
